Track and field star Pope suspended
Jan 24, 2009 - 4:46 AM COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (Ticker) -- The United States Anti-Doping Agency on Friday revealed that shot putter Mitchell Pope accepted a two-year suspension after testing positive for a prohibited substance.The 25-year-old Pope of Raleigh, North Carolina tested positive for boldenone metabolite on September 10, 2008.
Pope is also disqualified from all competitive results achieved subsequent to September 10.
